Racing to get the Take2 button it may be best to make smaller words quicker.    In the long run is this a winning strategy?  Or, is making longer words smarter to to give you more options towards the end of the game?

You need a couple big words to begin, but usually I form small words as fast as I can.

I find myself wanting to make a specific word but not having one or two letters.   as I play the game i make short words but I always wait for the letters to show up to make my original long word I had in mind.
when they do show up, I tear down the puzzle and make that word (satisfying) - Probably not the best winning strategy but when I have a word in mind I get OCD about it.

I find the strategy is determined by the letters. Sometimes you get a lot of the same letter, like o's and e's in which case the fastest and most efficient way is to spread it around and make tiny words quickly. Then there are times when you get letters that just beg to be made into large words and it is too much fun not to do. Either way is efficient if you stay aware of openings quickly. The only drawback with long words is that in the case of letters not being supplied that compliment the big words you have to totally rearrange words which can take more time giving your opponent the edge
